I became a therapist because I value connection and I believe in healing. I care deeply about creating holistic healing spaces that honor people's full selves - body, mind, spirit, community, and culture. As a BIPOC clinician who practices a blend of Indigenous spirituality and mindfulness, I come to therapy with a framework of resilience and health. I understand our challenges as healthy, appropriate responses to the unacceptable traumas experienced in a society rife with oppression and disconnection. My work is to help bring us back to wholeness and connection. My approach is trauma informed, strengths based, relational, and rooted in attachment theory; creating a safe, authentic relationship is the foundation of my work. As a clinician, my eyes are open to see the big picture along with the core issues being obfuscated by defense. I am deeply attuned to a client’s unique individual needs and cultural context. I can hold oceans of feelings with compassion, helping people navigate challenging and painful experiences. I believe that the answers that lead to healing and transformation come from within. I want to help you rediscover your wholeness.
